She Said Yes was created in the quiet moments I had between my fairly demanding job as a lawyer. It made a change to research and advise on something to close to my heart, as I was planning my own wedding.

Within six months of our Big Day, I’d created the little white book wedding planner, and become so busy with readers and customers that I left my job and took a leap of faith to take this from a side-hustle to a full-time labour of love.

Now that I have two very demanding little people, I’m back to part-time, but I spend some time every day sending out our orders, now including couple’s anniversary journal and pregnancy journal, as well as answering customer queries and working on new products.

This year I launched a new business, creating products designed for families – Forget Me Not Journals, I hope you’ll have a look there too.
