We don’t all have the luxury of choosing exactly what arrives on Santa’s sleigh, but should you be lucky enough that someone asks “What would you like for Christmas?” (or you can always drop a hint here and there…), I’ve got all the answers right here!
However, this is not just your everyday Christmas list… this is the Christmas list for the Bride to be, at whatever stage of the wedding planning process you’re at at, so you can tick something off your wedding checklist too.
Reflecting on my last Christmas (as a fiance), I’ve curated the most thoughtful presents that will come in handy the months leading up to the big day:
From the bridesmaids
Preparing for a wedding can undoubtedly be stressful, and it’s in your bridemaids’ interests to help you relieve the stress (or else they might end up on the Sunday-shift!). Let your friends pamper you with something indulgent that you mightn’t think to buy yourself: a scented candle and luxe face mask, new nail polish and luxe night-cream, or a body scrub and self-tanner (to prompt you down to the beach).
My picks: Farmers stock the beautiful In Bloom Linden Leaves candles which are divine; Clinique Deep Comfort Hand and Cuticle Cream, Palmers Foot Magic and Natural Instant Bronze, Essie’s Romper Room, and Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess products – available in store.
From Mum and Dad
If your Mum’s anything like mine, she’ll want to give you something practical, so add the little white book to your Christmas list – it’s a wedding organiser with a countdown diary, so whether you’ve got 12, 6 or just 3 months to go, you can get on track, compile your guest list, work through the budget and write down all of your ideas along the way. It’s available in my shop and a few stockists Nationwide.
From your fiance – Why not give your fiance the opportunity to choose your lingerie for the big day wedding day (or just a nice set for you to enjoy). This stunning Heidi Klum Intimates is just the ticket – it comes with detachable suspenders so you can complete the look with a pair of lace stockings.
If you’d prefer something more demure, this Paradise Promises Chemise in Blanc De Blanc & Rose Dust is a little more modest (but very sexy), or for the morning of the wedding, the Verona Breeze cotton lace with crochet essence boxer shorts with matching camisole (which unbuttons at the back so you don’t mess up your hair and makeup) is ideal. Now go ahead and click (and zoom) on these beauties – they’re so detailed and perfect.
Fun and practical (but not too practical, why not ask Santa for (or buy yourself) a new bikini to debut on your honeymoon? I love this scalloped design with tassle ties – available in store at Farmers.
A couple of honeymoon must-haves like glam by manicare natural-style false lashes, or a Coconut lip butter make perfect stocking stuffers too.
Whatever you buy, and whatever you’re gifted this holiday season, take some time out and treat yourself in some way or another – even if it’s a simple lip balm or a new ‘wedding planning’ pen.
This post was sponsored by Farmers and I can’t begin to describe the fun I had choosing these gifts for you! Let me help with any of your wedding planning concerns (see the index, and the little white book) and let Farmers help with the gifts.
